Three Chimneys Farm announced today that seasoned veteran horseman Tom Hamm will assume the role of Director of Stallion Nominations to handle season sales and bloodstock activity at the farm.
With over 25 years of experience, Tom was first introduced to the business by his father, later becoming Assistant Trainer to his brother, Tim Hamm, a position he held for nearly 10 years. He began work at Taylor Made Farm in 2006 as Divisional Yearling Manager, and worked from 2011 to 2017 as General Farm Manager, with duties that included being the Sales Coordinator for all public sales.
Tom comes to Three Chimneys from Woodford Thoroughbreds where he served as General Manager of Breeding Operations. Prior to that he worked as Farm Manager at Mandy Pope’s Whisper Hill Farm in Florida.
“Tom is a strong addition to the team at Three Chimneys,” said Three Chimneys board member Doug Cauthen. “He knows the business, the players, and the horses, and is an extremely upbeat and positive people person. The business is about having quality stallions and then building relationships – Tom has the ability to make those connections and to help breeders reach their goals. I am confident that he and Rebecca Grabert-Nicholson will make a great team for the Three Chimneys’ customers.”
