Sky Mesa’s ultra-consistent 3-year-old filly Babybluesbdancing earned her third stakes win on Labor Day at Arlington Park with a 1 1/2-length win in the first running of the $65,000 Rolling Meadows S.

The winner came from last in the compact four-horse field to capture the seven-furlong affair in 1:23.78 on a fast main track (VIDEO). 

Babybluesbdancing, owned by Elizabeth Gore, is now 5-3-1 in 12 starts and has earned $195,301. She captured the Purple Violet S. at Arlington in June, and won the Illinois Debutante as a 2-year-old.

Bred by RNB Racing LLC, Babybluesbdancing is closing in on her dam Bluesbdancing, who was a six-time stakes winner of over $400,000. 

Sky Mesa’s 2017 skein include six stakes winners and 16 stakes horses overall, with more than $3.2 million in progeny earnings. He has more than 60 lifetime stakes winners.
