Dontmesawithme led every step of the way in his career debut Saturday at Penn National, winning the 4 1/2-furlong maiden special weight by nearly three lengths to become Fast Anna’s seventh winner from his first crop (VIDEO).
Fast Anna’s runners are striking at a 50% rate, the highest among any stallion in the top 10 on the First-Crop Sire list. He is also one of only three freshman sires to have two stakes winners to date.
Dontmesawithme, owned by her breeders Dr. Stephen and Debbie Jackson, proved too fast from the start, gunning to the lead and never being seriously challenged throughout the trip.
The winner is out of the Sky Mesa mare Paloma Mesa, who won or placed in four black type events.
