Perennial leading 2-year-old sire Sky Mesa was represented by a $315,000 colt during Wednesday’s session of the April 25-28 OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in Training.

Hip No. 466 was consigned by SBM Training and Sale, agent and was purchased by Chuck Allen. 

The dark bay colt, bred in Kentucky by Mike Abraham and is out of the multiple graded stakes-placed mare Garden Street (FR). She is also the dam of top European sprinter Govinda and is from the same family as two-time German Horse of the Year Mondrian.

Sky Mesa’s 2017 runners include the multiple stakes-winning filly Family Meeting as well as graded stakes-placed Blue Dixie and Paige.
