Three Chimneys Farm announced Sunday stud fees for their stallion lineup in the 2016 breeding season, topped by champion Will Take Charge at $30,000.

Two new additions to the roster, Palace Malice and Fast Anna, stand for $20,000 and $7,500, respectively.

Grant Williamson, the farm’s director of stallion nominations and sales, said:

“We were thrilled by the response from breeders to the Three Chimneys roster in 2015, and with two new exciting additions for 2016, we believe there are even more reasons for breeders to come to Three Chimneys. We have intentionally kept fees under wraps and in the sweet spot where breeders can be profitable, which in turn leads to our success.

“With that in mind, Curlin’s best son, Classic and Met Mile Winner Palace Malice, will stand for $20,000 LFSN. Todd Pletcher calls him “the most versatile horse he’s ever trained”, and he retires with earnings of $2,691,135. His body of work on the racetrack, including the Met Mile and Belmont Stakes, coupled with his pedigree and great looks make him an exceptional value for breeders.

“We are equally thrilled to be standing Fast Anna, a brilliant son of top sire Medaglia d’Oro, who is out of Eclipse Champion Juvenile filly Dreaming of Anna. He won his debut easily, and followed that with an emphatic allowance victory by 13 lengths. He followed this with a brilliant effort in just his third start in the Grade 1 King’s Bishop, running 2nd by a neck in a game gate to wire effort. Winner of the Sawgrass H. and Stakes placed twice this year, Fast Anna retires to Three Chimneys with a stud fee of $7,500 LFSN.

Champion Will Take Charge and G1 Hopeful winner Strong Mandate will have their first crop of foals in 2016, and the first runners for both Brilliant Speed and Caleb’s Posse will hit the track. Exchange Rate remains a fantastically consistent sire with 11 Stakes Winners in 2015, and Sky Mesa continues to sire precocious stock that continue to excel as older horses, including recent TDN Rising Star Ami’s Mesa, Sky Marshal, Amira J and Graded Stakes winners Belle Hill and Sky Treasure. Yes It’s True has again had an excellent year with The Big Beast, La Verdad and Calamity Kate all performing at the highest level.“

“Three Chimneys commitment to offering breeders outstanding value continues with our two new additions and the remainder of our roster remains at the same fees as last year. There is a lot to look forward to in the coming year and we welcome the opportunity to share this with our clients.”
