In conjunction with the Keeneland January sale, Three Chimneys Farm will host its winter open house to showcase its entire 2025 stallion roster Sunday through Wednesday, Jan. 12-15.
The farm’s six stallions, headlined by 2017 Horse of the Year Gun Runner, will be available for inspection each day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Gun Runner, who ranked second on the 2024 General Sire list, highlights the 2025 roster. After standing for $250,000 last year, Gun Runner will again be available for $250,000 LFSN in 2025.
Volatile, a top-five First-Crop sire of 2024, is advertised for $12,500 LFSN in 2025. His juveniles banked $1.8 million last year. Among his 26 winners are the stakes winner Reliable Source, TDN Rising Star and multiple blacktype placed Voila Magic, and the Grade 1-placed duo of Tip Top Thomas and Incentive Pay.
Two new stallions on the 2025 roster, Gun Pilot and Newgate, will be available for viewing as well. Gun Pilot, a Grade 1-winning son of Gun Runner stands for $17,500 LFSN. Newgate is also a Grade 1-winning millionaire and stands for $20,000 LFSN.
Rounding out the roster are Funtastic ($5,000) and veteran Sky Mesa ($7,500).
